Yay! Kas went back to school! We've been counting down til this day for the last 6 months (since she stopped going to her last school!) When I dropped her off this morning, she was out the car door faster than I could tell her to wait for me. She was already inside the school! When I went in to make sure she made it ok, I was trying to tell her goodbye, but she didn't even have the time to turn her head around to wave me off! I was a little sad she didn't even want to say bye, but I guess it's better than having to leave her crying every time like some parents have to! Am I a bad parent for being happy on her first day???? =)

Don't feel bad Wendy. On Hannah's first day of Kindergarten, I came out of the school with my fists in the air like Rocky Balboa!! Time goes by sooo fast and there is nothing you can do about it. So just enjoy every step your kids take and be excited for them... as hard as it is for us moms!! I love your pictures of your family!!

What?! you didn't let her do her own makeup for the first day of school? ha ha
lol, i think it's hilarious that you couldn't wait for her to head out! she's adorable & probably the body guard to many small kids. hopefully someday her & caleb can end up in the same school together.
