The Life of a Princess...

So, for Kassie's birthday this year, we decided to do a Princess party. This was my first time doing the whole friend party (well, besides the 1st birthday luau that cost WAY too much!) and it was kind of stressful, but so much fun! So glad it's over though! Here are some pics. The girls had a blast! And the look on their faces when Belle walked in was classic. Wish I would've caught it on my camcorder.

Here Belle is telling her story. The kids were totally in a trance! They loved it.

She had an amazing voice:

The kids decorating their crowns:

Kas really enjoyed being a princess for a day:

Leini wasn't quite sure what to think when she met Belle!

But she sure loved being dressed up!

Posing for some pics:

Princess Belle did an amazing job. She taught them a song and a dance, talked to them about using good manners and was so great with the kids. If anyone is interested in hiring her, her website is: http://www.magicprincessparties.com/. You can pick your princess, and she comes with the crowns and entertainment and you can sit back and enjoy the party! (in theory! lol)

We also let the kids decorate their own cupcakes, which they had a lot of fun doing! Happy birthday my Princess Kas! Hope you had a memorable 5th birthday! =)

Happy Birthday Kas!

2 posts in one day! Amazing! I just needed to take a minute to wish Kassie a Happy Birthday! My baby girl is 5 years old today!

I once heard a saying that motherhood fills a hole in your heart that you never knew was there. I think that is so true. It has been such an amazing 5 years and I feel so blessed that she chose to be born into our family. She is such a loving, caring person. She always goes out of the way to look out for others, and tries to make sure everyone is staying in line! She is such a great big sister. She is very spiritual and loving. I could go on and on. She is truly a blessing and being a mother to her has been a true joy! Love you Kas! =)

Update...

My blog is in serious need of some tlc! Ok, so once again, I've been neglecting my poor blog. But, with good reason. Hear me out. So, my job provided me with a work computer, and all I had to provide was an internet connection and a modem. So unfortunately, my home computer got the short end of the stick. I had to steal the modem from my home computer to use for my work computer. And, I can't upload any pictures onto my work computer, so I have felt justified in being a slacker, because I always wanted to upload pics onto my blog. Then, BINGO! A brilliant thought occurs to me. And please hold your laughter. I just realized I could SHARE my modem! (Until I decide to actually go purchase a wireless card!) I just swapped the modem over for a minute so I could upload some pics. I know, I know. It took long enough for me to think of it!

So there is a lot to get caught up on.

There was preschool graduation:

Kas and her friend Eliza

With buddies Georgia and Collin

Kas and her teacher who we absolutely love, Ms. Liz

Kas and other amazing teacher Ms. Mindy

We had a day trip to Ogden with my friend Nani and her kids and went to the Dinosaur Museum:

Kas and her future husband Etano and cute Alema

We also went to the train station while we were in Ogden

Had a trip to the zoo:

Ok...so it's taking forever to upload these pics and I'm getting impatient! I just realized I haven't really posted any pics of Loleini though. So, here are some random pics...

Cheeser

This girl gives the best scowls!

Life is so hard!

Leini learning to walk

And the reason she learned to walk...

she was motivated by food! That girl can EAT!

And that's about all I have patience for tonight! I'll post more later. Stay tuned...
