So for some silly reason, I decided to pick up a shift for work, so I am currently working at 2:38 a.m. on this beautiful Mother's Day. And since there are no calls coming in (I guess people actually DO sleep) it's giving me some time to reflect on the blessings of motherhood. I can't even type the word without choking up! Gosh. I'm such a softie these days! Anyway, it's hard for me to believe that my 2 baby girls are almost 5 and 1! They have grown up so fast. I always wish that I could make time stop and just freeze them so I could enjoy them even longer, but I know that life is short. I try to enjoy every minute of it, because I know they will be grown and gone before I know it. Even when Kassie is having another melt down because she doesn't want to come home (she would rather be ANYWHERE than home. Sad, I know.) and Leini is being her strong-willed self and screaming to get what she wants. It's so worth it. I wouldn't change one second of it! To all the Mother's out there, I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!!!! =)
